In a city that has experienced a boom and a bust one finds areas on the fringes of habitation, places that were once lived-in but now lie nearly or completely derelict. Build on an undulating forest, the interstitial hollows and hillsides of Pittsburgh hold quiet mysteries about past lives. I have been roving the woods seeking those mysteries.
